Brute

In my last post, I talked about how I felt like a Janitor in a drum, (or should I say, “janitorial supply guy” in a drum) here in my little cubicle. But today, I’d like to talk to you about a product I sell called “Brute in a drum,” and yes, that is really it’s name.

Not a lot of people have heard of Brute, so let me fill you in.

Brute is used by a lot of people in the construction industry to clean their blades with. I’m talking about the blades on the machines that you all use in construction. (Please don’t ask me the name of the machine—I’m a sales rep, not a builder!)

Anyway, if you work in construciton, then you know what I’m talking about.

Bruce is a powerful degreaser that, in addition to degreasing equipment also works wonderfully on concrete and cement.

In fact, it is so potent, that one of my customers uses it extensively in “the caves”, an industrial park filled with concrete structures.

Brute does come in a drum, (which is super economical) but is also available by the case, in gallons.

So if you are struggling to find a citrus based degreaser strong enough for your construction needs, then Brute is your guy.

To order Brute in a drum, or by the case, contact Eric Melin at (800)451-0726 extension 1060

Janitor in a drum.

Right now, I feel like a janitor in a drum. Even though I am top salesman of the month, unfortunately I haven’t been upgraded to a real office.

But that’s okay. I really don’t mind. Cranking out sales is just as much fun in a dilbert cube as in the Oval office (okay, MAYbe I’m exagerating.)

Still, I’m in such a good mood today, if you call right now, I just might be persuaded into offering discounts.

So what are you waiting for? Give me a call, at 1-800-451-0726 ext. 1060

That’s Eric Melin, ext. 1060.

Best way to clean your oven (How to clean your oven without chemicals or should you even.)

I wanted to talk to today about “Natural” oven cleaners.

Ever since the “Green Clean” mania hit our culture, Chemicals seem to have a bum rap.

Oven Cleaners have a lousy reputation as being highly toxic.(There, I said it.)

The Truth about Oven Cleaners

Oven Cleaners are abrasive, corrosive, and, yes, they are generally made of caustic chemicals. Whoa!

Thank goodness they don’t need to be cleaned every day! At least they don’t, if you use the right oven cleaner (obviously, I have a recommendation…)

Why I recommend Dyna Foam Oven Cleaner for your oven

Dyna Foam (the oven cleaner that Ultra Chem Inc. sells) has a reputation for being “the” oven cleaner to use…if you don’t want to do this thing continuously.

See, most oven cleaners and “green” cleaning methods (including the baking soda route) don’t do it all in one treatment;
It needs to be repeated.
That’s because most oven cleaners,at least the over-the-counter kind, aren’t nearly strong enough to get every bit of really charred stuff off…throughout every single layer, the first time. Continue reading

How to Clean an Oven without Chemicals

Should you clean your oven without chemicals?

Do chemicals really work?

Is it ever okay to clean with a heavy duty oven cleaner?

If I use a heavy-duty oven cleaner will my stove really fall over and die along with my family?

IF you have ever wondered about the effectiveness of cleaning your oven with produce,

if the baking soda you use for dental care doesn’t quite seem to cut the mustard when it comes to your crusty oven

if “natural” ingredients like ammonia smell just as caustic as sound alternative (less “green”) methods,
then you may appreciate my next post.

Graffiti Removal

Getting Rid of Graffiti

The other day, my wife was all edgy when I came home.

I should have know something was up when I saw the pictures rearranged.

But my sweet heart is “into” rearranging things, so I didn’t give it much thought…until–

the youngest, after dinner, takes the picture frame off the wall and shows me her “secret” art work. (“Shhh. Don’t tell mommy I showed you.”)

How To Graffiti Off Wall

It seems that our little angels think that our walls are chalkboards, and that sharpie markers are  the chalk.

I could pride myself on my self-control, but the truth is, I probably would have gone ballistic if I didn’t have some samples of Graffiti Wipe on hand.  You should have seen my wife’s face. I literally wiped off the marker, like it had been a dry-erase marker.

She went from “bust” to “blast” in a nano second. (Man I love being the my hero at my house…)

And you’ll be the hero where you work, when you have this stuff on hand when the need arises.

My name is Eric Melin, and I look forward to serving you.
